Chamber University
Chamber University is a service we have started in 2009, to bring frequent business seminars and business training sessions to our members, and guests. Unless there is a workshop fee, Chamber U is always FREE to our members. For a schedule of Chamber U Events, please go to our Events Calendar.
Chamber University is what we call our business seminars and business classes for our members. Chamber U Events have been very popular, and well attended.
Our Chamber Members can also participate by hosting a Chamber University Event at their business. A big room with a 'classroom' setting with plenty of folding chairs (tables are not always necessary) and a white board allows us to bring in a variety of speakers. Sometimes we will need AV equipment, or wireless internet access.
- Our class sizes seem to vary, so rooms that hold 20 - 100 people are what we're looking for. These are 'after work' seminars, so we've found that having appetizers, beverages (coffee & water are big hits for those who cannot serve adult beverages at a work place) will be very much appreciated by everyone.
- We ask our business hosts to provide the beverages and appetizers, and will acknowlege your business on every announcement we make to advertise the Chamber U Event.
Our Chamber U seminars and classes are FREE to Greater Freeland Chamber Members, and from $5 - $10 to non-members. If your business would like to host a Chamber U event, or have an idea for a business speaker, please call 360-331-1980 or send us an email freeland@whidbey.com
