FREELAND CHAMBER FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

The Freeland Chamber of Commerce has adopted a “swags and candy canes” theme for store front decorations this year. Puget Sound Energy has donated 20 sets of lights toward the project. The first 20 businesses who contact the chamber office with plans to decorate with the theme will be awarded a set of the lights. Contact the Chamber office for details.

The annual “Festival of Lights” Christmas Tree lighting for Freeland Chamber will take place the Friday after Thanksgiving starting at 5 pm Festivities will include Rides on the M Bar C Hay wagon, the La Bella Coro children’s choir and the Bell Choir from Trinity Lutheran Church. Santa will be available for kid photos. Activities will last from 5 to 7 pm.

Other Freeland businesses will have special activities planned for the evening as well. The Paint Escape, will offer a “Late Night Paint Night”, China City is creating special drinks for the occasion like Peppermint Patties and Hot Buttered Rum, Coastal Community Bank will be offering hot apple cider and cookies; and the Beach Cabin will feature a “Taste of Freeland” special and several Freeland businesses are staying open late for shoppers. If you would like to participate let the Chamber office know what your events or activity will be so they can help promote it.
