Scarecrow Contest Winners!

Best in Show

Eight fantastic scarecrows lined up walkways and storefronts for our 2nd Scarecrow Decorating Contest.  It wasn’t easy, but we did it!  Entries included:  Frontier Industries, Studio A, Tiger Martial Arts, The Building Source, The Beach Cabin, The Short Stop/Texaco, Waif, and Whidbey Vision Care.

Our judges were:  Charlona Sawyer (Creative Advertising Solutions), Joan Soltys, Kasia Pierzga (Whidbey Examiner), Renate Audette (Freeland Chamber), and Sherry Mays (South Whidbey Examiner).

The Winners were:  Best in Show—Frontier Industries ($100), Most Unique — Studio A ($75), and Craziest — The Beach Cabin ($25).  Entry fees raised $250 for Waif!  Congratulations to everyone and thank you for your participation!
