Tourist Kiosk Progress
Although the summer tourist season seems a long way off, work is underway for a new tourist information kiosk to be ready for when the tourists return. The Freeland Chamber of Commerce is working with the Langley South Whidbey Chamber of Commerce to construct a permanent visitor's kiosk to be located across from Ken's Korner. Plans call for the kiosk to be staffed by volunteers, especially during peak visiting periods.
